Nah, for real, be honest. Idk if anyone has told you, but none of this sh*t works if your mental health isn’t up to par.
So here are some tips on how to maintain a full cup so you can show up fully for your business:
1. Develop a routine and stay consistent with it.
- develope a morning/night routine. Stretch. Exercise. Journal. Move your body. Eat a full meal. Read. Meditate. Do it in whatever order works best for you. Just make sure you are consistent with it.
2. Avoid comparing yourself to others
- I mean like, for what? You’re doing you, they’re doing them. The math is not mathing when you start comparing and competing with anyone other than yourself.
3. Do Less
-believe it or not baby steps are still steps. As a business owner & entrepreneur, it is common to want to do all the things all the time, but frankly, that’s just going to lead to a faster burnout, more stress, unmet expectations, & an unhappy outlook on the business as a whole. Doing less allows us to do more. The less you are juggling in the air, the more you are focusing on one task and making the most of it.
4. Lean on your community and ask for help!
- you can not do it all yourself. Point blank. Period. Ask for help in areas weak in. Seek advice. Let go of the idea that you have to do it all on your own.
5. Connect with Others – Your relationships with family, friends, and work colleagues can play a significant role in your wellbeing. Try not to work so hard that you isolate yourself from these connections. Be fully present when in the company of loved ones. Even if you can’t meet up, you can still take a break to give them a call or text.
6. Set aside some Me time
-your work is NOT your life. Make sure you are taking time to check in with yourself and doing things that fulfill you.
7. Set your hours and stick to them.
-set your business hours and dedicate those hours to giving your full focus and dedication. When that time is up go about living and experiencing life outside of your business.
