This public art exhibition transforms the park into a living monument through augmented reality, inviting you to explore hidden stories, ancestral memory, and radical possibility.

Move through the landscape with your phone as a portal. Encounter immersive AR monuments by visionary artists Ari Melenciano, Olalekan Jeyifous, Kiyan Williams, Wangechi Mutu, Jeremiah Ojo, and Hank Willis Thomas.

Presented in partnership with , this marks the launch of Kinfolk Tech’s multi-city Dreaming with the Archives initiative, activating stories across NYC, New Orleans, and Philadelphia.

So, my Naija BroDAH , the founder and CEO of IlÈKÙN WA (Our Door)], dropped by for a studio visit.

And let me tell you--ALL the legends are true:

He was 9-Feet Tall (give or take 36 inches), and when he spoke, I heard thunder!

Then - suddenly - the Ancient Waters of the Yoruba Osun River cascaded into my studio and galvanized into the living image of Mami Wata!

Also, we had a dope time talking about art 😂😂😂

is pleased to present artist, Xavier Daniels | first solo exhibition, “In Search of the Fraternal”

In Search of the Fraternal is a metamorphic display of the artist’s journey in seeking a contemporary and personalized version of the concept of brotherhood. Daniels navigates the liminal space between his relationship with his younger brother—17 years his junior—and maturing to emulate the fraternal bonds he witnessed through his father’s fellow police officers. The combination of Daniels’ studying art at Morehouse College, a career as a firefighter, and teaching art to young Black men, have fortified his understanding of how Black men combat stereotypes for their survival and collective success, free from reprimands and humiliation. His intimate portrayals of physical, emotional, and spiritual connectedness amongst elegant Black male figures, embody confidence in a relaxed yet united front.
