: Mary W. Jackson was a pioneering engineer who spent 34 years at NASA, ultimately achieving the highest engineering title possible. However, she faced a frustrating career roadblock. Without becoming a supervisor, she couldn't progress any further.

🔭 Jackson made the difficult decision to accept a demotion and instead become the manager of two programs: the Federal Women's Program and the Affirmative Action Program, both housed in the NASA Office of Equal Opportunity Programs. In this new role, she used her influence to increase the hiring and promotion of women in STEM careers at NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

❤️ Despite the setback, Jackson's dedication to empowering women and minorities in her field cemented her legacy as a trailblazer and an inspiration to generations of engineers to come.

⭐️ An important part of my onboarding process is discussing the systems my new client already has in place for their business.

📍Most of the time, business owners feel they need to use every fancy new app or program to help run their business OR they feel completely overwhelmed at the thought of using any app or program at all.

❤️ I’m here to tell that there IS a happy medium that won’t leave you stressed and your business unmanaged.

✔️ I’ve tried just about everything when it comes to organization, management and design programs. These are just a few of the apps I use daily and also recommended to each and every one of my clients.

👉🏾 Here are 3 Must-Have App for Small Business Owners & Creatives:

Canva
If you run a business, you need to know how to use Canva. I implement Canva into all of my client processes just so they can familiarize themselves with the interface. This app is everything you need for (basic) design and editing. From social graphics, to mood boards, stock images and videos...the possibilities are endless with Canva (and it’s right at your fingertips).

LaKisha Sarbah has an AMAZING facebook group where she shares all the bells and whistles that Canva has to offer.

Square
Running a small business can get messy when it comes to invoices, contracts, and client management if you don’t have the proper systems in place. Square is a great solution to this problem. It's quick and easy to put together contracts and send out an invoice in minutes. My clients and leads can easily book appointments with me through their scheduling platform. I love having everything in one place.

Google Drive
If you’re not using GSuite for your business, what are you REALLY doing?
Among the numerous apps that Google has to offer, Google Drive is one the reigns supreme.

I think I say “Adding it to the Drive” at least 100 times a day during my clients calls??

Google Drive makes it quick and easy to upload and share all of your content. Having this app on your phone will keep you so organized.
