Continuing our game series, here is HedBanz Blastoff!

A twist on the original HedBanz, this version requires the player to work against the clock, making it a better option for older children. This game, and the original, targets:
1️⃣Caterorizing
2️⃣Auditory memory/recall
3️⃣Formulating relevant questions

A timer clock is not for everyone, and can be frustrating for some children. The original HedBanz is just as fun and relevant to these targets! Happy playing! 🎲

Mental Blox is another favorite of mine. This one can be played as a two player or a larger group.

This game targets:
1️⃣Following verbal directions
2️⃣Description words (shape/color/patterns)
3️⃣Crirical thinking skills

Another game with larger pieces making it an easy clean-up when it’s over! ✅

The first game I’m sharing from my collection is Twister!

A classic favorite, Twister is a fun way to get moving. Some speech-language skills Twister can target are:

1️⃣Colors
2️⃣Following directions
3️⃣Spatial concepts (right/left/over/under)

Another great thing about Twister is there are no small pieces. A quick setup & quick clean up and you’re good to go ✅

➡️Games are a great tool to target speech, language, and social skills…and the best part is, children can enjoy playing at the same time. A win for everyone!

Benefits to virtual speech therapy, part 2️⃣
