It takes a village.

I’ve always known this but I didn’t *really* get what it meant.

I’ve always felt connected to mamas but I also felt disconnected — like I didn’t have a right to empathize with this tribe until I stepped into the ring myself.

After spending 9 months in the ring, I can tell you that my appreciation for moms and the work they do has only grown.

I am terrible at surprises. I keep secrets like a vault but surprises? Pssh. I can't do it!

In true Vix fashion, I am birthing two big projects in 2024. The first, a sales extension to the award-winning advertising and marketing consulting agency I've been running since my late 20s.

The second, a baby girl, in March.

The second will have her own story and time but first, let's talk sales!!

What does it mean to acquire something? It means to be aware of something. To be aware of your need for a specific thing.

To bring (AKA acquire) it into your world because it has meaning to you at this moment in time.

That is the Top of the Funnel in Marketing. And it is often achieved through a combination of advertising (aka paid campaigns) and marketing (aka posts like this).

The most important thing about advertising? It is all about the attraction and the REASON why you are different from the rest in a way that makes sense to YOUR ideal client or customer.

After that? You've got to put your money where your mouth is and show them that you are all you described and so much more.

The hardest secret I’ve had to keep — but the best one I’ve ever kept!

I’m thrilled to share that me and are expecting a BABY this spring. Our first.

Pregnancy is a wild and weird journey — I’m so thankful to be able to share my story now as I started this story in 2017 when I froze my eggs. (More to come but this baby isn’t one of those frozen eggs although we did make embryos this summer too!)

I’ve been planning a family for as long as I can remember — I never played “house,” I play “taking my baby to work” — and when I started my marketing and advertising consulting firm in 2015 (at the ripe old age of 27!?!), I started it to create the family I am currently cooking!

Jokes aside — I built my business with the idea of balance in my head and while I didn’t always get it right for myself, I’ve helped hundreds of parents in large corporations and small businesses find innovative ways to get time back for the things that really matter. And I can’t wait to (truly) put those systems and strategies in place for myself in days, weeks and months to come.

In 2021, when my grandma died, I made the decision to design my life in a way that made sense for my heart’s greatest desire. That led to me calling in my partner and boyfriend, and with that SO MUCH EXPANSION. As a human and a professional.

I hope you’ll enjoy the next installment of my professional journey — as a mother to be and, this spring, as a mother, and I promise to, as always, give you the good, the bad and the ugly.
