Whether it is late night or early morning I’m always ready to brew a cup of matcha tea to soothe my mind body and soul. Years ago I was introduced to matcha tea via a Starbucks ju**ie . I gave it a try and it has been my go to tea on my star buck list .

Now let's dive into salads ! I am all here for a healthy salad in the spring time packed with proteins and healthy greens .One of my favourite salad recipes would be baby spinach , olives, chopped beets , avocado , sun sunflower seeds , pine nuts , cranberries , cucumber and tofu. Tofu is a great source of protein, iron and calcium loaded with amino acids.
If tofu is not for you try adding grilled chicken or fish to your salad or even a little steak.

Journaling is not only for news reporters ,broadcasters or bloggers .It’s also for Mamas ! This is an therapeutic art form around for years. You can use a journal to improve your mental health both emotionally and physically by helping you improve your habits and behaviors. We’ve found journaling has assisted many Moms in postpartum depression by allowing us to have a safe space to vent and express ourself freely with no judgement. So give it a go!
To start journaling pick a quiet place where your thoughts can flow freely and simply challenge yourself to write what comes to mind for the first 30 mins . No erasing or starting over . Simply write what comes to mind for the first 30 mins! . Use your journal to process your feelings and work on yourself. Let it be a safe place for you to release any anger, frustration or anxiety. Also reflect on your entries daily to track your emotions and remember this is a judgement free zone so write as much as you can .
All you must do is repeat this process everyday or as many times as needed.

This is always a touchy subject for all expecting or seasoned Mamas . We as mothers always lose friends when we are expecting or when we become busy with kids . This should not be! Let's look at 5 simply quick tips to maintain or even gain friendships with Mamas .
1.Listen to a Mama vent this might be the easiest thing to do with a new mama. It could be about the simply mundane topics but you're listening ear and presence means the world .

2. Treat your new mama - this could be a gift card to juice bar or her favorite store she will gladly welcome the smallest gift it will show you are thinking of her .

3. Checking in on her - sometimes new mamas are over whelmed with so much to do please do not be offended is she not as available as before . Try to reach out first and see how she is feeling and what you could do ease her day .

4.Maybe you can mention to her partner ideas of baby moon . Baby Moons are amazing this can be in form of staycation or trips a few months before she gives birth.

5. Last but not least an at home manicure and pedicure. Sometimes in our final trimester we are exhausted and unable to make to our favorite salon so why not bring it to her . Have an at home glam day for her so she can feel her best . This can be in the form of at home foot spa treatment or even simply just painting her nails .

Here's to having a very berryfull Thursday!!
Blueberries along with strawberries. blackberries and raspberries are high in vitamin C, fiber,folate and potassium plus our favorite antioxidants . You can prepare your yummy berries by adding them to your granola and yogurt as a snack or a sweet berry compote.
Once your little bundle of joy is 7 months you can also add them to his or her purees with a little yogurt .

It's a rainy Monday morning over here on the east coast so before we get our busy week started let's speak a few affirmations of light into our little gems.
I always find saying a few affirmations into my bubba an amazing way to start our mornings instilling confidence and self appreciation in early in our munchkins gives them a positive outlook on the day .
Let's try incorporating some positive affirmations to your newborn , toddler or child's morning routine this week and let me know how it goes in the comments below .
