Not every transformation needs to be huge. Take this toy storage cube: it was a mess, but at least had a lid so it was hidden 🥴 Repurposed a few shoe boxes to group similar toys and *ta da* it’s a much more user-friendly storage space. ⁣
⁣
Bonus? No new materials were purchased. In fact, the cube itself has held many different items over the years. Sometimes you just need a fresh set of eyes to discover solutions already available to you. DM if you have a project — big or small — you’ve been hoping to tackle! ⁣

On this , I’d like to share a project that was on my to-do list for 2 years. 2 years!⁣ 😱⁣⁣
Deep cabinets made it hard to reach items in the back. There was an easy solution - sliding cabinet shelves - but I needed to actually do it. Well, I finally tackled it yesterday and it’s already more helpful than expected. So, just a friendly reminder that it’s never 👏🏼 too 👏🏼 late 👏🏼 to start. ⁣⁣⁣

I’m setting up our nursery for the day when someone besides me and dad will need to find things! 👶🏻 ⁣⁣⁣
Labels on drawers help take the guesswork on what things are. They can also easily be swapped out when items shift around. ⁣⁣⁣

A broken glass jar was the tipping point in addressing these deep shelves. 🙈 ⁣Clear bins make it easy to see the contents (group similar items together!) and access the items at the back. ⁣⁣⁣⁣

Yes, it's important to go thru everything you own to decide what gets packed or donated pre-move. No, you don't have to channel (but we did!)⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

We often hold onto items we no longer use. Two donation bags later, it's easier for this family of 4 to find what they need AND unused coats are being donated to those who need them. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
Plus, we reused shelving and cubes they already had to increase storage in this closet. Win win win! 🏆🤗
