IDDO provides individualized consumer assistance to individuals, their caregivers and providers navigating OPWDD supports and services. These services are provided via IDDOs toll-free helpline.

Services provided by IDDO include:

▫️Explaining the Front Door or the first step in getting OPWDD services.
▫️Helping individuals obtain necessary documents for the OPWDD eligibility and service authorization process.
▫️Educating individuals and families on Self-Direction.
▫️Navigating the role of Care Coordination Organization (including the role of Care Managers in service authorization and coordination); difficulties communicating with care managers.
▫️Informing individuals and their Circle of Support on the purpose of The Life Plan and advising them on how to address issues with their Life Plan.
▫️Providing resources and referrals for Housing
Understanding how to report Abuse/Neglect to the Justice Center
▫️Counseling on complaints, grievances, and fair hearings

United Justice Coalition & Roc Nation Announce the Third United Justice Coalition Summit on May 30 at The Shed in New York City

On February 25, 2025, the United Justice Coalition (UJC) and Roc Nation announced that it will host its third-ever, United Justice Coalition Summit on May 30 at The Shed in New York City.

PEACS, LLC. will be present at the 2023 United Justice Coalition summit this Friday, December 1 hosted by Roc Nation.

We fully support efforts to reduce rates of recidivism, halting the school-to-prison pipeline, and finding person centered solutions to prevent entering the criminal justice system.

The United Justice Coalition and Team Roc are returning to New York City for the second annual UJC Summit. Convening leaders, advocates and experts, the 2023 Summit will focus on identifying viable solutions to challenges within our criminal legal system and provide opportunities for attendees to take action.
