Project Moon Hut Foundation began in 2014 with NASA Ames with a simple but radical vision:
To place a Box with a Roof and a Door on the Moon—then bring the resulting breakthroughs back home to Earth. We are building a 40-year global movement, linking innovation, governance, education, and imagination, to accelerate progress between Earth and space. Every solution created for the Moon helps solve problems here: climate resilience, energy, food systems, new materials, equitable economies, and beyond. This is humanity’s next great collaboration—one designed to improve earth, not escape it.
