Welcome to Baba’s Kitchen - Recipes for Successful Learning and Musical Adventure!

We are dedicated to the development of young minds and bodies through FUN and ENGAGING workshops that encourage movement🏃🏽‍♂️, promote awareness of one's environment🌎, integrate social emotional learning, and strengthen S.T.E.A.M. We use music 🎶 and original media to weave all of this together!

Workshops feature Yahoteh Kokayi (Baba Yah) leading children through various songs 🎶, exercises 🤸🏾‍♂️ and discussions, Sahuspete Kokayi (Nana Sasa) leading songs and incorporating a Social Emotional Learning approach🤗, and a number of artists from the community, who we welcome in to share their gifts.🎨🥁💃🏽

Given the shift to online learning, and acknowledging the multiple intelligences that exist within all of us, here at Baba’s Kitchen we do our best to engage children from as many angles as possible!🤓❤️
