Lois and Richard Nicotra had the honor of leading the P.S. 45 Centennial Parade as the school celebrated its 100th anniversary! ❤️🏫

As a P.S. 45 alumna, Mrs. Nicotra’s role as Grand Marshal made this milestone especially meaningful. The celebration was a beautiful tribute to a century of learning, memories, and the generations of students, families, and educators who have shaped the school’s legacy.

The Lois & Richard Nicotra Foundation is proud to support the schools and nonprofit organizations across Staten Island that make our borough so special. Our annual LOVEducation Grant awards $1,000 to every elementary school on Staten Island to support an art, music, or gardening project - including those at P.S. 45!

Congratulations to P.S. 45 on 100 incredible years! A special thank you to Principal Nicole Vega, along with the faculty, staff, students, and families, for the warm welcome and for making this milestone celebration so memorable.

Did you know that Lois & Richard Nicotra’s Corporate Park of Staten Island is filled with wonderful pieces of artwork? 🎨 Today, we're highlighting Joy of Music by George W. H. Lundeen Lundeen Sculpture. 🎶

Located at the entrance to Nicotra's Ballroom, Joy of Music features five life-size musicians cast in bronze. Behind them, a striking laser-cut metal backdrop creates a swirling interpretation of sheet music 🎼 from Antonio Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons.

The Nicotra Collection is a gift to our Community from Lois and Richard Nicotra for all to enjoy! The Nicotras have art displayed throughout their Corporate Park of Staten Island properties including the Hilton Garden Inn (Staten Island) and Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Staten Island, featuring sculptures, paintings, and installations. Sam Stein is The Nicotra Group's Senior Vice President of Real Estate and has been working for with Lois and Richard Nicotra for more than 40 years. 💼 Sam first met the Nicotras when he leased them their first Everything Yogurt location - that began a friendship lasting decades.❤️

📬 Fun fact: The Bronze Mailman you see at the entrance of 1110 South Avenue is none other than Sam himself!

To celebrate Sam’s 25th Workiversary, the Nicotras commissioned this one-of-a-kind art piece, titled Sam the Postman by Robert St. Croix, as a heartfelt tribute to Sam’s years of hard work, dedication, and friendship.

Did you know that Lois & Richard Nicotra’s Corporate Park of Staten Island is filled with wonderful pieces of artwork? 🎨 Today, we're highlighting Club Mozambique by Bill Jonas. 💃

Located at Lorenzo's Restaurant, Bar & Cabaret in the lobby of the Hilton Garden Inn (Staten Island), this painting is part of a special collection of oil paintings purchased by the Nicotras to support victims of Hurricane Katrina. Artist Bill Jonas donated the proceeds from the purchase to Hurricane Katrina relief foundations, and the Nicotras organized a fundraiser that raised more than $400,000 for New Orleans. ❤️🎨 The elegant men and women dining, dancing, and singing throughout the collection perfectly complement the lively atmosphere at Lorenzo's Restaurant, Bar & Cabaret.

Lois and Richard Nicotra commissioned the LOVE sculpture by Patrick Weisel in 2015 as a gift to our Community.❤️ Standing proudly at the corner of Lois Lane and South Avenue, it was created as an iconic landmark and beacon of LOVE.

The Nicotras’ LOVE Staten Island movement fosters a space for current and former neighbors, as well as those who have an affection for our Borough, to spread GOOD and DO GOOD - a warm and wonderful 'neighborhood' on social media, powered by the philanthropy of The Lois & Richard Nicotra Foundation.
