Today, we pause as a nation and as a community to mark a solemn milestone: the 25th anniversary of the tragic events of September 11, 2001.
A quarter of a century has passed, yet the memory of that clear September morning remains vivid for many, and its impact continues to shape our nation and our world. For a growing generation of Americans too young to remember that day firsthand, our collective promise to “Never Forget” is not merely an echo of the past—it is an ongoing commitment.
Today, we honor:
The 2,977 precious lives lost at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and in the fields of Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
The firefighters, police officers, medical personnel, and other first responders who ran toward danger without hesitation—and those who continue to carry the physical and emotional scars of their service.
The families and loved ones who have borne the weight of this profound loss every day for the past twenty-five years.
In the darkest hours following the attacks, our country demonstrated an extraordinary spirit of unity, compassion, and shared humanity. As we reflect on this 25th anniversary, let us carry forward the legacy of those who gave everything by looking out for one another, strengthening our communities, and choosing resilience over division.
May we always remember and Never Forget!
