Competent Care is a New York City Early Intervention Program. We provide evaluations and therapeutic services for children under 3 at NO COST TO PARENTS. Our services Include:
Evaluation, Audiology, Occupational therapy, Service Coordination, Speech Therapy, Special Education Teachers. Servicing all boroughs, and have providers that speak multiple languages.

EI is in crisis!! In the wake of policy changes and the implementation of a new data management system,
called EI Hub, a proliferation of barriers to therapeutic care is
impacting families all across New York State in devastating ways.
We are calling on EI families to raise their voices together with EI
providers in helping to protect rightful access to
the early intervention program.
Please call, email, or visit your elected leaders. Demand that they protect the EIP rights of our children. Demand that the Bureau of Early Intervention (BEI) take responsibility and restore EI. Children, birth to 3 years old, with developmental delays and disabilities are the human cost of catastrophic BEI decisions. This grave injustice must end.
