Are you tired of not getting the results you’ve been working so hard for?

As CEOs, it's easy to get stuck in familiar patterns, expecting different outcomes. But what if the key isn't working harder, but thinking differently?

In my work as a Chair, I’ve seen firsthand the power of fresh perspectives. Here are a few strategies that have helped many leaders break through:

🔍 Seek Unbiased Feedback: Engage with people outside your immediate circle. A fellow CEO in a different industry, for example, might offer insights that your team hasn’t considered.

💡 Challenge Core Assumptions: I often encourage my Vistage group members to question their most fundamental beliefs about their businesses. What if one of those beliefs was holding you back?

📊 Pilot New Approaches: Don’t overhaul everything at once. Choose a specific area to experiment with a new tactic, measure the impact, and iterate.

Happy Independence Day!

Reflecting on the true meaning of independence, I’m reminded of my journey as a founder. Initially, I sought the freedom to steer my own ship. Yet, the weight of responsibility—caring for employees and relentless profit pressures—quickly became overwhelming.

Joining Vistage Worldwide, Inc. was a turning point. I learned to become a better CEO and business owner. My group and the speakers offered insights, support, and strategies that empowered me to reclaim my independence.
