Last week, Rissi Palmer returned to the Grand Ole Opry stage to mark the release of her new EP, "Perspectives." Asked what she hopes for with "Perspectives," Palmer doesn’t talk about chart positions or
accolades. She talks about truth. “I recorded this because it was the right thing to do.” she says. "Songs transform depending on who is singing them. Different vessels evoke different emotions. Hence the name 'Perspectives.'"

It’s a deeply personal collection, rooted in tradition, but forward-looking in spirit.

"Perspectives", Rissi Palmer's new EP, is out today 👏

"This EP serves as an amuse-bouche before the album, Survivor’s Joy, comes out in 2026. These are songs that I wrote that needed their own project outside of the album. I brought the idea of the project to one of my first and longest collaborators and my brother, Shannon Sanders (who co-produced my debut album in 2007 and one of the first producers I worked with when I came to Nashville in the early 2000s), who immediately understood the assignment. Together, we created this collection that brings all my musical influences together in a cohesive, beautiful, and meaningful way. Shannon has a way of bringing the absolute best out of me as a singer and musician. This is a return to my roots."
