Manon Chevallerau, Post partum Doula, Intuitive Sleep Expert, Newborn Care Expert, Workshop host. A Postpatrum Doula provides continuous in home physical, emotional, practical, and informational support to the parents before, during, and through out the postpartum period. This support includes but is not limited to:
Prenatal:
Support and network preparations for the birth and postpartum. Nursery a

nd necessary baby products advice
Postpartum support:
Breast-feeding; latching, positioning, pumping and solving problems. Basic baby care like diapering, bathing care of the umbilical cord etc. Monitoring moms recovery and babies adjustments, recognizing warning signals. Recognizing patterns and routines, sleep guidance. Manon is focused on giving the new Parents the tools to tune into their newborn’s personality and recognizing their new parenting instincts. Manon will come to your home for an average of 2-3 hours per vist or more, based on your needs. Support services are provided on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. In addition Manon offers virtual consultation and classes. Manon has been providing support services to new parents in Manhattan, Brooklyn and New Jersey for over 22 years. Doula-ing is my dharma.

Whether it’s guiding thousands of new mothers and parents into parenthood for over 27 years, or raising my own children as a single mother in NYC, it all comes down to the same thing: tuning in, listening, nurturing and truly caring.

Add a little flair from my creative background, a deep love of beautiful, functional spaces, and my somewhat compulsive organizing skills—and I can confidently say I’ve truly earned the title of The House Doula.

Beyond grateful for this wonderfully recognition by Financial Times House & Home and Mark — and most of all, by Ashley Longshore.

After more than 27 years supporting new parents and their newborns as a postpartum doula and newborn expert, my professional life took a fabulous turn when Matt Savoia / Matt Savoia introduced me to Ashley while I was helping settle her into her new home.

What began as creating an organized, calm, and beautifully functioning space soon evolved into a weekly rhythm — and, along the way, a genuine friendship and creative connection.

Much like my work with new mothers, I began tuning into Ashley’s rhythms, routines, and needs, creating a home environment that supported her rather than distracted from her. The goal was never simply to organize a house, but to create a sense of ease — a space where life could unfold and creativity could flourish.

With my own creative background and our shared love of design, independence, and female entrepreneurship, the collaboration felt completely natural. There was a wonderful freedom in bringing together two very different worlds: the nurturing instinct of a postpartum doula and the eye of a creative.

It’s been such a joy to discover that the art of caring for a home — and the person within it — can take many forms.

Grateful for this beautiful new chapter, for the trust, the friendship, and for the reminder that sometimes the most unexpected doors lead to the most inspiring places. ✨
