Today, we celebrate a man whose legacy echoes across generations. Born 96 years ago, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a visionary who taught us that change begins with courage, love, and action. ✊🏾✨

From his powerful leadership in the Montgomery Bus Boycott to his unforgettable “I Have a Dream” speech at the March on Washington, Dr. King’s commitment to justice and equality reshaped history. At just 35, he became the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, reminding the world that peace is a powerful force for transformation.

But Dr. King’s impact goes beyond civil rights. He challenged us to fight economic injustice, embrace nonviolence, and build a future where equality isn’t a dream—it’s reality.

💡 Did You Know? Dr. King was a prodigy, skipping two grades and entering Morehouse College at just 15 years old. A man of faith, intellect, and purpose, he left behind a blueprint for building a better world.

As we honor his life, let’s reflect on his question:
“What are you doing for others?”

I learned Professor Overstreet didn’t give out A’s when made a commemorative post honoring his life and legacy. I didn’t know or at least I didn’t remember lol. I got the highest grade in his class. A B+. It felt like an A+ and now I understand why. Because it was lol.
