“2025 was an exceptional year,” said Marie-Laure Akin-Olugbade, Senior Vice President of the African Development Bank Group. “We approved $11 billion in financing, the second highest level in the bank’s history. Just as importantly, disbursement reached $7.1 billion, the highest level in the past five years.”

“For the first time ever, ADF beneficiary countries made contributions to their own concessional financing window. This is unique and this is laudable,” explained Hassatou Diop N’Sele, Vice-President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer of the African Development Bank Group.
