Blue Monkey is stepping into the future of hydration.

The brand has acquired Local Weather, expanding beyond coconut water and into next-generation sports hydration.

What makes this move interesting is the timing.

Blue Monkey brings the foundation: strong coconut water equity and global sourcing.
Local Weather brings the energy: cultural relevance, athlete-backed credibility, and a fresh take on sports hydration.

Platform meets relevance.

Over the past year, our team at BeyondBrands supported Blue Monkey through a full brand and packaging transformation led by Larissa Hrabec. The goal was to modernize the visual identity, strengthen shelf presence, and set the brand up for multi-category growth and broader U.S. distribution.

At the same time, Eddie Pearson helped expand sales strategy and distribution to fuel that growth on the commercial side.

With both brand and sales momentum in place, Eric Schnell supported the strategic acquisition of Local Weather, helping extend the platform even further.
