STEPHEN H. JUDSON

Stephen Judson is an accomplished entrepreneur, who is well known in the arts, music and entertainment world. He began his career as an assistant to Seiji Ozawa, Music Director of the Boston Symphony Orchestras. He then joined Columbia Artists Management Inc. At 25 years old, he was the youngest vice president in the firm’s 75-year history. He founded Judson Management Group, Inc. (JMGI) in 1992 to provide artists and arts organizations with representation for corporate sponsorship. The first company in North America to identify this specialty as timely, JMGI successfully built a business to leverage commerce in the service of art and culture. Clients of the firm have included Luciano Pavarotti, Columbia Artists Management, Inc., the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Lorin Maazel, Credit Suisse, Chase Manhattan Bank, Seagram Latin America, Chrysler, General Motors, and Mercedes-Benz, among numerous others. Mr. Judson is an authority on business and marketing communications, he frequently consults with senior management of major corporations around the world on sensitive communications, marketing and management issues. Mr. Judson has been published in The New York Times and is a frequent speaker and panelist on business, communications and the arts. He possesses advanced French language skills and is a graduate of Boston University School for the Arts.

MARK Z. ALPERT

Mark Alpert is widely known and well respected for his extensive experience as a manager and artist representative in the world of classical music and dance. Before joining Judson Management Group in 2019, he spent more than three decades as a vice president at Columbia Artists Management (CAMI), where he represented a diverse range of high-profile artists and attractions. Prior to his work at CAMI, Mr. Alpert was primarily active in the field of dance. From 1975 to 1979, he managed the contemporary ballet company Dennis Wayne’s Dancers and was manager of the Erick Hawkins Dance Company from 1972 to 1974. Previously he served as assistant to the president of American Ballet Theatre.
