The most awesome thing about being a business owner is getting to know amazing creative people and their journeys. All your experiences are important and they are part of who you are today.

I want to share a short story with you about my own journey.

✅ I’m from the small paradisiac island of Vieques, Puerto Rico. It’s beautiful and peaceful but we experience major limitations.

✅ I helped my family’s t-shirt printing business, souvenir boutique and even a garbage removal business.

✅ I sustained myself & paid for my education by working as a model from the age of 13-25

✅ I was the first person in my family to graduate from College.

✅ After graduating with a BBA, I moved to NYC and worked as an unpaid intern for a startup to gain experience. There I developed my experience and became Director of Operations among other key roles.

✅ I have always been an artist, so I opened a small jewelry business called to keep working my art (I LOVE IT)

✅ I was affected by a layoff and suffered a stroke 1 month after

✅ I decided to prepare myself to work as a freelancer helping women like me to go after their entrepreneurial dreams.

And today, I run an online jewelry store & a digital business that I love ✨ 💻

But... The most important question is, why did I take this step?

After being hospitalized for so long I realized how short our time is, and I want much more freedom to spend with my son, work on projects that I'm passionate about and that bring me happiness, rather than just living for a salary.

I chose to take some risks and pursue my dreams, my life, and my story.
