One of the gifts of my professional life has been when business relationships evolve into friendships which is the case with my guest on this week's episode, Nadina Guglielmetti.

With so much changing so fast in Digital Marketing, I wanted to have a conversation about the state of social media with someone who I consider to have been early adopter of both digital and social. The first person who came to mind is Nadina.

We cover a lot - from Tik Tok to Twitter to Lemon8 and YouTube Shorts. We discuss how privacy legislation affects the efficacy of digital advertising, AI’s potential impact and reputation management.

So put in your air buds, take this one on a walk and enjoy! https://buff.ly/3VVYsZl

When Jack Rahaim told me he was retiring from teaching at NYU I was surprised.

Aside from the fact that he is a stellar educator, liked and respected by his students and peers, Jack never impressed me as the type to "retire."

It turns out I was right!

Jack's idea of retirement is to combine his years of professional experience as a successful entrepreneur with his volunteer work at the Davidson County Jail in Nashville to create OutsideHustle where he teaches entrepreneurship to inmates. Tune it for a very inspiring and motivating conversation!

Because we just can't stop talking about AI and ChatGPT, I invited Tim Reis back to continue our discussion of the pluses and minuses and yes ...the scary parts of this new technology.

While we are not generated by AI, some of my questions are. Stay tuned until the end for the surprising advice I got from ChatGPT as to how to best use it.

ChatGPT is the buzzword of the moment!
Everyone is talking about it, but who really understands it?
In Episode #76 I sit down with Tim Reis, CEO of Act3 to get his take on this much talked about technology. Tim helps to break down what this really is and what it can mean for marketers and educators as we discuss ChatGPT's potential promises and potential perils (and a few other things!).

When I first heard the title of this book, my reaction was great title - but really?

I could not imagine what there was about basketball that could possibly help to save our damaged world. Then I got an advance copy and it all made sense.

This week I sit down with the author, David Hollander, Assistant Dean and Clinicial Professor with the Tisch Institute for Global Sports at NYUSPS to discuss the argument he makes in what I think it is a thought provoking episode #75 (That's right we have made it to 75 episodes!!! 👏)https://buff.ly/3X2bfZa

Remote work. Hybrid work. How it changes workplace culture and how leaders manage are conversations on everyones mind right now.

Who better to discuss this with than someone who was managing remote teams successfully long before Covid changed everything ?

That would be my guest on Episode #74, Melissa Romo discussing her forthcoming book, Your Resource Is Human: How Empathetic Leadership Helps Remote Teams. https://buff.ly/3DhgFIT

I had a great time sitting down with my NYU colleague Michael Diamond for Episode #71!

Michael shares his thoughts on purpose driven marketing and how it’s changing the way in which brands are perceived, insights from the 2022 Corporate Social Value Index that he coauthored with Milos Bujisic and Jennifer Scott and his perspective on career direction, networking and what he thinks of the idea of “going for your passion." https://buff.ly/31ICkHx

Two years into this podcast and we've made it to Episode #70 👏 and who better to celebrate that with than my colleague, friend, and self-proclaimed "shameless marketing shill" Thom Kennon as he discusses his new book, The Big Leap, An Ethics Of Insight which he wrote with a mission to help fix the system he believes he has helped to break. Tune in for some "deep insights" and a touch of humor! https://buff.ly/3St2HJt Martinis

You are not going to want to miss Episode #69 of this week!

I sit down with Matthew Lee Sawyer to discuss his new book, Make It In America, How International Companies and Entrepreneurs Can Successfully Enter and Scale in U.S. Markets.

Matthew explains why he saw a need for this book, the importance of international investment to the US economy and the future of the country, and the nuances international companies and entrepreneurs face when entering this market. While the book is focused on international companies, it is written as a primer for anyone who wants to start a business in the US.
