We've got a fabulous contest going on over on the Get Julued page! Enter to win some stunning earrings, or simply vote for your favorite looks.

See you there!

Your task is to create the ultimate holiday look. Whether it be Christmas dinner appropriate, New Year’s Eve glamorous, or on-the-town chic, the choice is up to you! Just make sure it’s a stunning look that would summon major likes.

Rules:
1. Create your holiday look on www.polyvore.com. You will need to create an account but signing up is quick and easy.
2. Once you publish your look, send the direct link to [email protected] with the subject line as “Be The Stylist Contest”. Include your name, a short description of your look and what inspired it. This will be uploaded along with your submission.
3. To give everyone a fair shot, uploads will begin on Saturday 1st at midday (Eastern time). Thereafter, submissions will be added as they are received.
4. Once your board is uploaded, get as many of your friends as possible to like it for your chance to win.
5. Contest ends December 16th at midnight. Winner will be announced during the course of the day.

Prizes:
1st Place- the person with the most likes will receive a pair of earrings from my new online boutique, Julu’s Pieces (www.juluspieces.kitsylane.com) AND a pair of my handmade earrings from my Etsy shop (www.getjulued.etsy.com)

2nd Place- the person with the second most likes will receive a pair of earrings from my Etsy shop.

2. Each entrant is allowed ONE submission of ONE look.
3. Do not copy anyone’s submission. Be creative as possible, please.

Today's the day! Bittersweet but change is inevitable and so far the move to Get Julued has been GREAT!

But we've been going strong here for almost 3 years and there's been a lot of information shared. What were some of your favorite juluSTYLES moments? I definitely enjoyed the Make Your Wardrobe Work inspiration series (will be revisiting this in a whole new way on the GJ page *hint hint*).

A great way to save money and exercise your creativity is by examining basic pieces you own and giving it new life. You'd be amazed by the things you come up with when you think outside of the box.

I've been pretty quiet on the style tip lately, but as a new semester starts for me today, so will a new life be brought to the juluSTYLES fan page. For the upcoming week expect a minor hiatus while I tidy up and put 2012's goals into motion.
