I've been building dashboards in Excel for 20 years. I've mostly stuck with it, it's fine for a few thousand lines from a shelter database or accounting system. I've dabbled in the new data analysis tools that suit big data far better than spreadsheets but nobody is better at building out the new generation of tools than our friends at Eyeful.
