Puppy love heels! YES… those sharp teeth hurt your ankles AND…..Puppy’s love heals.

Our daughter has been on a mission to help displaced puppies. She found this summer. She researched the organization, filled out the paperwork, scheduled our volunteer sessions and makes sure (with persistence) that we arrive in time!

She treats those puppies like her own children, knowing that the training we offer is for their betterment when they go home with their new families. ❤️🐶🐾

I personaly LOVE the puppy love…..AND the opportunity to spend time with P to see her gain confidence and responsibility through volunteering.

There is a lot of bullying & intimidation happening in MN right now… I have strong opinions about what’s happening. Right now I’m choosing small ways to heal hearts. I’m posting this to show that giving of your time, care and love is healing… This time, love and care can also being shared with our friends in the Somali community. Check out .are.alight

But puppies win the story of this post.

Happy 1/2 century to this beautiful, amazing, wonderful man. I love you so much. You are my best friend, an incredible husband, father, son-in-law, brother, son, neighbor, artist, sign painter, movie lover, karaoke king, world traveler, house fixer-upper-er and dad to Zaso. I can’t wait to see what the next 50 years have in store.

One short day in NYC!

“Our energy is enough,” has been written on a post-it next to my computer for 3 years. This was my reminder as I SAT with the forest today.

Getting to travel. Getting to rent a bike. Getting to love my tired body on “mostly flat”😆 trails. Getting to see 12 ravens in one day. Spending quietness in a deep forest. Wow.

What do the CEO of a decentralized social media company and the President of an encrypted messaging platform have in common?

They’re both advocating for your digital autonomy.

I gained an evolved understanding of data privacy from these two sessions.

✏️On the top, we have a recorded session of Bluesky CEO telling you how to take control of your online experience by avoiding private platforms.

⚡On the bottom, we have the discussion recap of President and leading advocate for secure communication telling us even the “good guys” have something to hide.

Both Meredith Whittaker (Signal) and Jay Graber (Bluesky) expressed deep concerns about how personal data is being collected and used, often without people’s knowledge or consent. They highlighted how tech companies and those in power are “weaponizing” people’s data against them.

It’s not just about encryption anymore; it’s about fundamentally shifting power back to users. Both missions they work to accomplish at their respective companies.

Privacy isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity, and a user-centric internet is within reach.

My role as a graphic recorder is to break down complex conversations into clear, visual narratives. These recordings demonstrate how both speakers, despite different approaches and backgrounds, are sharing the same message.
