Join us in ushering in the summer at our first IKON summer event!

Meet us at the spot made famous by the children’s classic, “The Little Red Lighthouse under the Great Gray Bridge”. We will go inside this fabled lighthouse and receive a private tour! Learn about the lighthouse and the Hudson’s heritage.

Following the tour, enjoy a buffet brunch with new friends in a historic Harlem apartment with sweeping river views. Then, spend a free-form afternoon of watercolor painting, collaging, and making art with and inspired by the tour’s nature.

Without a doubt, we can all agree that we are living through some challenging times.

I’m working with entrepreneurs and nonprofits who desire more agency in their business structures, especially now that traditional support is threatened and the landscape is swiftly changing. I understand this personally, like my clients, I’m also on this journey as I incorporate my artistic endeavors into my brand structure—one that will provide me with a strong, resilient foundation, align with my values, and give me the freedom I seek.
I understand the challenges and the breakthroughs.

I’d love to guide you through this process so you achieve your desired transformation and build a sovereign structure.

The highlight of my week was the opening reception for “The Gates and Unrealized projects for New York” an exhibit at The Shed under the creative direction of Alex Poots. It was a great night to be out with the Maysles Film Inc/Handheld Films team. A huge thank you to Jonathan Henry, Vladimir Yavachev and Lorenza Giovanelli of the Christo and Jeanne Claude foundation for making sure that “The Gates” film was included. Thank you to Bloomberg Philanthropies for supporting and preserving New York’s artistic legacy. Please check out this important show!

Yesterday evening was a great time at New York Urban League’s ART X COMMERCE panel discussions sponsored by TD bank. To the left is Gina Ramcharan, their incredible Small Business Solutions Director in conversation with the legendary Patti Carpenter, Maison & Objet’s Global Trend Ambassador. Learning that artisan and craft work is the second largest work source in the developing world next to agriculture was a pleasant surprise. As someone who loves artisanship and the decorative arts and understands their power for artist career development, it has me thinking about ways we can use this industry for people who have been disenfranchised in our communities. If you are in New York City and want to try your hand at gold leafing please join us February 8th. The tickets and details are in the bio.
