Sgt. Fury Howling Commandos #1 Nice Marvel Comic Secret Invasion Press + CGC it! I’ve been eying this up at Midtown Comics and they happened to have a nice deal on back issues today, so I finally scooped it up. With the Secret Invasion MCU Disney+ announcements this book is primed for Silver Age price correction, to line up with all the other big books of 1963.

The front cover presents beautifully but you’ll notice the back cover is a little wavy, likely some water but minimal. I had them take it out and gently flip through the pages and they’re all separate / look primed and ready for a press before grading. Which is exactly what I’ll eventually do with this if it doesn’t sell raw.

I’m not a professional but the armchair consensus was that this book is likely a 6.0+ however don’t take my word for it! The only other “defect” worth noting is a loose bottom staple, but it’s still attached.

For the pictures here I didn’t want to handle the book extensively but I do have more photos available on request I’m just not pressing my luck going page by page and risk mishandling. The photos are all adequate and I’ve seen it all once which was enough to satisfy me and hopefully you.

Go ahead and buy this gem, hold it for 6 months and watch it double / triple quickly! Shipped with extreme caution and insurance, expedited shipping etc. Don’t hesitate to ask questions!
