✨ When this video was recorded, mentally and emotionally I was not okay. The smile was there, but deep down I was carrying more than I showed. That year taught me some hard truths. Not every community is healthy. What once felt inspiring and fun slowly became heavy. Envy, shade, quiet competition and if you’re not careful, that kind of energy will consume you. It affects your mental health.
So I chose to walk away.
Stepping away allowed me to see how important it is to protect your spirit. A true community celebrates you, supports you, and doesn’t compete with your journey.
To the GENUINE friends I’ve made here I will always be thankful. The beginning was beautiful, and I’ll never forget that. 🤍 Maybe one day I’ll be back. But today, at 36, I am happy. I am aligned. I am at peace. It’s a little bittersweet… to not be here like I used to… buts it’s the best thing I could have done for myself. So if you feel this I want to share this.
I learned that sometimes protecting your peace means stepping back, getting quiet, and keeping parts of yourself to yourself. Not because you’re cold. Not because you don’t care. But because not everyone deserves access to your energy.
Being part of something should feel supportive, not draining. And when it starts to feel heavy, it’s okay to choose yourself.
And this year, I can truly say I smile inside and out. ✨
