It was a pleasure to serve at the Montefiore hospital annual babyshower as a doula. I want to give a special thanks for the invitation to my long time friend/colleague .america.

It just such a great time, I met some beautiful pregnant mommas. Did some education around birth and breastfeeding. I spent some time with my mom .celia56 and even met a new friend .

Some of my clients... Yes they all breastfeed their babies. Yes even the toddler on the far right. Such awesome, kind-spirit, powerful ladies!

I usually see my clients one at a time, but this day was a surprise!

It's funny how I met them... I first met the mother with the toddler. She was interested in breastfeeding her now toddler son, because she informed me that she didn't breastfeed her daughter for too long but she wanted to breastfeed her son. She did a great job! I did breastfeeding classes with her, assisted her after birth and she hasn't had any issues yet..

Then I met the other two ladies on separate occasions. They were a few months pregnant a part from each other. They are both amazing young women. I was excited to assist them with their breastfeeding journey. Although, in the beginning it may be difficult for some, but when you have the support and/or the drive to want to breastfeed; you can definitely do it!

That is what these ladies did! On the day I took this pic with them.. I had just found out that they are related! Lol it was such a surprise to me... although they knew me and referred each other to me and my support program. It was great seeing them together. Ladies, you are all amazing. Thank you for allowing me to assist you and support you!

It's always a good feeling when you meet someone who feels like I were meant to meet. 💕

I love when I meet moms who have said that they tried.. I always ask them, how long? But in reality, it doesn't matter if it was 2 days or 2 years.. When it comes to nursing your baby, trust and believe in yourself that you did the BEST you can!

I also specialize in re-latching. It does take a lot of patience and dedication from mom, but I give mom step by step support and guidance. 👭💞😆👍👏💯💪

This happened a few weeks ago.. but I want to give a shout out to all the moms who have fought the good fight and who have ignored the HATERS!

Those who have shut out the ignorance and who have even shut out some family members. I've heard your struggles and I'm here for you.

Oh btw, I'm happy to say the that I have a friend in this picture.. She's a rockstar!
