Lasansky’s series drew massive crowds when it toured major museums between 1967 and 1970.

Six decades after Adolf Eichmann's trail, Mauricio Lasansky's 'The N**i Drawings' are on view at the Minneapolis Institute of Art. Lasansky created these works during the internationally broadcast trial, which was the first time the Holocaust entered public consciousness. In case you missed it in print this weekend, The New York Times profiled the Baltimore-based artist Jerrell Gibbs timed to him being commissioned to paint a portrait of the late Representative Elijah E. Cummings for the U.S. Capitol. You can get a sneak peak of the portrait at The Baltimore Museum of Art from December 22nd through January 9th, before it heads to its permanent home in the Capitol.
