Wearing vs styling - a volume dress

I opted to let the dress truly be the star of the show so I kept my accessories and shoe choice slightly more minimal. I thought about the element of the wrong shoe with a mesh flat, but it cut off my leg so I went for a more barely there sandal to help keep the length of my leg.

Am I…better than everyone?

JK JK - however, I’m proud that not only did I not panic buy new anything for this work trip (bad habit) but I’ve also been really refrained when in stores here. I made a fall wishlist and I’m reminding myself of that to keep myself from buying something new, “just because”.

And guess what, I still felt so great & confident in this dress that I’ve been wearing basically weekly. I styled it with shoes I don’t typically pair with it to keep it feeling fresh!

Proof you don’t always need NEW to feel good and get that dopamine fix.
