You know you've become a Masterful CEO when.....

You ACTUALLY do NOTHING for the purpose of enjoying your life, family and space in your schedule for whatever you want.

Here's the thing-

There isn't just one way to do nothing.
Doing nothing is an art, mmmkay.

And some of y'all are giving it a bad name.

It's something I often assign my high achievers…
… as a way of stretching them.

Because people who want BIG lives…
are more uncomfy in the NOT doing, than the doing.

If you're doing NOTHING it's gotta be for the right reasons.

The version of you that makes you jealous (of you? Yes. How meta.) is not just someone who does all the things.

She's someone who turns off.
Who is scaling for financial freedom - not rich b*tch jail.
Someone who makes people ask if they're from Europe… by using the word “Sabbatical”.
Or at bare minimum - someone who isn't having a panic attack about potentially getting a cold and “falling behind”.

I've been really distracted lately.
Like REALLY distracted.
DRAGGING through my emails.
BARELY able to schedule (my typical love language).

And yet…

I'm still projected to have my highest revenue month TO DATE.

Here's why.

1. I harness the power of compound interest.

I'm not over here trying to create ALL of this month's revenue THIS month. Each month, I take small, big, and "ginomungous" (as my son calls it) action each month to create future revenue.

Some will flow in today ($2656),
some tomorrow (Projected: $35k😍Talk about compound interest!)
and some I'll gladly wait six months to receive.

2. If it's not fun, I'm done.

I stopped doing youtube - because… its just not my fave.

I'm delegating more to my admin (All hail, Janelle! I'm taking that girl to the spa in 3 weeks! Stay tuned in our stories!)

I'm sharing more of the weird thoughts in my brain.
And the awkward moments that make you either unsubscribe or view me as your spirit animal.

I'm tuning into the spontaneous energy my body is craving.
(Which is why I created the free Bold @$$ B challenge!)

And guess what? My people are having more fun.
And then wanting MORE of that energy that THEY convert into $.

*Fun is supreme.

3. When my brain, body, health, kids, or other life things… aren't cooperating with my plan - I get back to ICING ENERGY.

Icing energy is the idea that everyone who pays you from here on out?
…is just the ICING on the cake.

That we already have SO much to celebrate, share, teach and learn.
Even if you have 1 paying client.
When I did, I just bragged about HER and poured into HER!

Growing a business isn't just about “making more money”.

It's about being in MASTERFUL with your money.
Earning skillfully.
Spending wisely.
Saving consistently.
Investing boldly.
Just having money
& Giving freely.

It's about showing up from the belief
There's plenty of time.

If you don't feel certain that you will make lots of money
in plenty of time this year… something has got to change.

Client: "There is zero money coming in."

Me: "You've made $0 in the first 7 days of February?"

Client: "Well no, $3600
And that actually doesn't include the $1000 from X
Or this week's revenue from Y income stream
Or the expected revenue from Z in the upcoming weeks…"

As a coach, half of my job is separating the FACTS of your business from the DRAMA about it.

Even if the answer WAS truly $0…

It is never a FACT that “zero money is coming in this month”.

We were 7 days in.
And we have infinite capacity for earning.

As a coach, I know that our thoughts are what creates our revenue.

But it grosses me out when coaches tell a business owner - who is panicking about $$…

“It's your thoughts."

Even if it's true.
Coaching only matters if it's USEFUL.

So, before I began asking her HQQs like:

“Who do you want to BE when sh*t isn't going according to plan?”
or
“How does the version of you who has had $100k months show up when her numbers aren't tracking?”

No. FIRST…
We ran her through the gap to goal process.

We did the simple math so we could create safety in the MANY paths to hitting her goal.

We got neutral through numbers.
And THEN we tackled her mindset.

My clients hire me because they know a masterful business requires both.

Strategy and mindset.
Numbers and feelings.

And that you hired me for the magic of BOTH our brains.

Not just yours.
Not just mine.

And man does magic happen. ;)

Your thoughts shape your reality.

Life is not equitable and it's not fair.

However you do have POWER.

And it's really all about focusing on the things that we absolutely CAN control.

It's our responsibility to break free from limitations and transform disadvantages into opportunities, if we're seeking that big life and big business of our dreams.

I went through this as I transitioned to being a single mom. I had so many doubts and worries and negative thought patterns.

But after working with a coach, I realized that I had control of them.

So I started thinking differently.

I set a deadline for my goals. I put my head down until I got there.

As soon as I began to zone in on my new belief that being a single mom doesn't have to be a struggle, my mind actually exploded with other new supportive beliefs.

Ones like 'I'm an example of what what's possible.' 'Money is just about value.' I would focus on those beliefs. How can I create more value today? How can I offer value to this client? I know how to create time and money. Simple thought changes.

I found all of the thoughts AND supporting evidence to support it. I started to look for the evidence everywhere.

And then I showed up in action. And with the right thoughts and beliefs, it felt second nature and EASY to take the right action steps that I needed to in order to reach my goal.

At times, my clients will argue for their limitations like 'no, you don't understand I'm terrible at losing weight', or 'I'm so bad with money' or 'I just can't schedule,' whatever their story is.

And my question to them is: Is that something that you want to believe about your story or yourself? Do you want that to be true?

Because you're gonna continue to make it true if you continue to say that to yourself, to repeat it and dig that belief into the ground.

And that's because there is evidence to support any story. And your job right now is to look for the evidence to support the story of your dreams to support the story of future you.

Where your head hits the pillow and you’re like…
“Damn, we got AFTER it, today.”

Being tired is only a bad thing when you’re tired from doing the wrong things.

From trying to please others instead of serve others.

From chasing money to prove your value …
…instead of creating money from your absolute value.

From doing everything you think you HAVE to do, because people asked you for it…

…instead of executing on the plan you created.

Wake up excited.
Go to bed HONEST TIRED.

I'm a skill master.
HA. The irony of the sentence.

A skill is something that you master.

So my goal?

Become masterful at getting MASTERFUL.

The only difference between us and the people we admire are:
•our thoughts
•our skills

Let's stop making it ANYTHING to do with us or our circumstances.

Notice that I didn't list any circumstances.
Like being a man or a woman.
Or being born into privilege.

It's not because I don't think privilege exists.
It damn sure does.
Life isn't fair.

Some people were born into incredibly loving families.
Some people were born into families caught up in their own drama.
Some people don't have family.

Now what?

What can we DO with the life we're given?
(While simultaneously building better systems.)

What can we control NOW?

Our thoughts and our skills.

So lets ask ourselves some high quality questions, darling CEOs…

*What skills am I developing to become that future version of me?

*What thoughts am I practicing believing?

Spend some time answering these questions.
Build your skills.
Practice your future thoughts.
Deepen them.

Go get 'em.

If you want a big life,
you’ve got to welcome big feelings.

I’ll give you an example.

This weekend I was on a retreat with some of the most successful coaches in the world.

In a hot tub in Malibu.
Crying with gratitude and getting nerdy about funnels with people I look up to.

I literally dreamed this sh*t.

I used to watch people like Amy Porterfield and Marie Forleo get in rooms together…

…and think HOW DO I GET IN THAT ROOM?

And now I’m in one.

But to experience this high,
I had to open up to its opposites.

Confusion and overwhelm…
as I navigated how to fit consults into the 9 hours a week Calvin was in preK.

Self doubt… wondering if anyone would buy.
And then hearing all the no’s.
And learning how to not make it personal.

Nausea… over re-investing most of my profit in those early years to get in high level rooms and be pushed beyond my comfort zone.

And now I watch my clients go through the same…

Often thinking “one day this will feel all ease”

And then feeling the pull to fall back into BUSYNESS….

But seeing now that STRATEGIC discomfort is the magic.

And truthfully, while most things do get easier,
some things stay the same.

To grow at any level you need to take risks.

And the ALIVENESS that comes from saying…
“Idk 🤷🏻‍♀️ but GAME ON 😈”

is the ONLY way to level up.

My clients have STAYING power.

Meaning… when the thing they didn't see coming, actually happens?
They simply dig deeper.

We don't just focus on how to MAKE money.

They're learning who they need to BE and what they need to do to grow true wealth.

At some point on your path to $1 million in revenue you will:
*have people ask for refunds (sometimes more than one at once).
*hire an ads team and realize they've been charging you a pretty penny and running your ad to the wrong location.
*Sell out your offer! (Only to realize your profit margins weren't dialed - so working your ass off still only profited you $20k the WHOLE YEAR.)
*you might get sued for something you couldn't have prevented

⬆⬆⬆These are REAL examples of things that have happened to my clients and peers who are now making MULTIPLE six and seven figures.

And if you're playing BIG - a version of these things might happen to you.

What then?

Who do you want to be when the sh*t hits the fan?
Will these things spin you out?
Slow you down?
Cause you to “need a break” or play smaller?

Growth is not linear.
And it certainly isn't easy or devoid of petty BS.

But it is damn sure worth it.

When you get to the level where your money, time + mindset are unf*ckwithable?

You will look at the list of obstacles above and find them cute.
Because that's what they are.

Cute things that once would've tanked you.
Now?
They teach you.
They make you AND your business MORE valuable.
