Can Google And Yelp Reviews Boost The SEO Of Personal Injury Law Firms?
What is the significance and importance or non importance of Google reviews, Yelp reviews, or reviews from all other types of social networks? Some people may go with an attorney because they have 55 star reviews. There's no guarantee on the surface level to say if they're authentic, or if they're paid. So, what is the significance and impact of reviews? Does it directly affect SEO?
Google's job is to send people to be best place for their search. So, when you think about what it means to be the best place. Do you have content that's relevant, well organized, informed in the site that works well that's going to make it easier for people to navigate? Do people get there and stay? Google reviews are such a clear indicator that you're a good place to send people.
It does help with search. It really helps with consideration to get that first call. You want that consultation because you have a better shot of holding on to them if you're the first person they talk to.
If you think about how reviews are done now, you can go on Google and you can look up 'auto accident attorney.' You're going to see several options and they're going to show you those reviews. That's going to increase your click through rate, these are all going to be signals to Google that you continue to be a great spot for that search. So, we think reviews matter.

So, we can't tell you that Google knows, but we wouldn't recommend getting fake reviews. Real reviews are always going to be more effective. With fake reviews, so many algorithms across different platforms can tell when a review is fake. It's not worth it and most importantly, if you're invested in fake reviews, you're not really invested in fixing or improving your business.
