After many conversations about the current state of legal recruiting, I decided to put my thoughts into an article: "Why the Legal Recruiting Industry Needs Regulation." It is intended to spark discussion about how the industry can better serve lawyers, law firms and lawyer job seekers.

The legal profession is built on rules. Lawyers are governed by ethical codes, confidentiality obligations, fiduciary duties, and disciplinary oversight. We discussed market trends with the Global 100 law firms both domestically and internationally, the use of Artificial Intelligence in law firms, the law firm post-COVID situation with remote work, and other industry information pertaining to future legal market predictions. I was humbled to Chalr the 19th annual Jessie Banks Foundation Scholarship Gala on November 17th for the second year in a row. Dr. Sharon Banks does such incredible work, helping deserving students in the New York City area achieve their educational goals through the academic scholarships.

This year's honorees included music mogul, entrepreneur and Def Jam Founder Kevin Liles, New York Giants Football Super Bowl MVP and my friend Ottis "OJ" Anderson, my friend Congressional candidate and businessman Fred Schneiderman, New York Representative Jaamal Bowman, and powerhouse surgeon Dr. Mendes. Thank you to Hakim Bell, son of Kool and the Gang's Robert Bell, for the Kool champagne sponsorship along with Cigna.
