The devastation from is immense and we are still in an active response. I joined Fox Business Network yesterday to discuss how victims could be further impacted by the east coast port strike and potential pending shortages of key finished goods. Empty shelves at Walmart, IKEA or The Home Depot, who all rely on these ports, would pose an enormous challenges to those who may have evacuated with little more than a toothbrush and aren’t sure what they’ll find back home.

In the interview, I give a shoutout to the great work being done by businesses with great strategies in place. But this polycrisis with multiple incidents including increased natural disasters and labor tensions could lead to further issues and even undo the recent progress on bringing down .

It will be a long recovery and my thoughts are with all those impacted.
