I once saw Cryptocurrency as a hedge against a dollar backed by nothing but a myriad of swords of Damocles, and in the face of all the doubters arguing that it is largely used for illicit activities I would say that the US dollar is the most used currency for illicit activities worldwide. However, seeing the vast capabilities of an ungovernable currency being used in order to further a particular political party nonetheless fazed me, even though the same could and has and will continue to be done with the US dollar. The effortlessness and near perfection of the crime was what frightened me, and this is in no way a post calling for regulation of a form of currency designed to be "unregulatable", but rather just a way for me to express the amount of faith that we as humanity will be putting in each other if we found ourselves in a position where currencies like crypto are what global economies operate on. FTX might have just been a small piece of the puzzle, but if that isn't indication for the fact that technology with such freedom on such a scale has vast and unforeseeable implications, I don't know what is.

Sam Bankman-Fried has been sentenced for a cryptocurrency fraud described as one of the biggest financial frauds in U.S. history.

Mega sized infrastructure bids are nothing new, from the construction of the American highway system, to China's real estate boom leading to the recent Evergrande crash, as well as the communist nations' not so recent foray into international investments without political implications, so to speak, in a multitude of nations in Africa as well as the South East Asian in the form of investments made in Pakistan. In this regard, at this very moment, however turbulent religious tensions might appear to be in the India, the nation seems to be doubling down on their infrastructure investments, and without the bureaucratic beak wetting that its citizens have become so accustomed to, or at the very least, not so much as to derail all these projects altogether. With all other economic predictions and projections for the nation's economy holding strong, India looks poised to take advantage of the newfound prosperity coming its way.

To promote such growth, India is leading efforts to dedicate attention and funds to developing infrastructure, which is evident by the efforts at the central and state levels.

My Father, and many men of his age alike would have told you a decade ago that the best whiskey came from Scotland, and that it was spelt without the "e". Maybe a few years past they might've said where you need to buy from is Japan, however since 2023 these men of distinction have found themselves enjoying the rich and unique flavors offered by the princely state of Rampur, in Uttar Pradesh. It is a phenomenon that I doubt anyone expected, one of Indian whiskeys dominating the luxury market, and I cannot stress enough that this isn't just some diversity/charity look towards the Indian subcontinent, but rather that the history of colonialism has left behind a vast amount of untapped luxury goods which are yet to be explored. Rampur whiskey has found itself in the limelight of late, and has established itself as a brand that is capable of standing up to those which have weathered the storms of centuries of brewery. I'd be lying if I didn't say I love seeing true passion for perfection that other nations have already achieved find their way to India and imbue our already rich culture with their ethos for wanting to be the best in the world, and Rampur is just one of the few rising examples among many in the boutique luxury space.

It is not the first time that fine Indian malts have created a niche in the International market with their enticing taste, flavour and textures. Rece

As an aspiring entrepreneur, I am hugely excited by the news of the rising middle class in India, as also slated to arrive into fruition by 2050, as stated by the likes of Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg. The opportunities, that once generations of Americans found themselves in the midst of in the United States, should, be found by Indians for all intents and purposes in the coming decades. I look forward to my career in corporate life in the US, however what I dream of is returning home and starting businesses to bolster this progress towards making India not just a top three nation globally, but as the next stalwart of power as far as another horizon might present itself.

This initiative, although inspiring as it may be, reminds me of a quip from Slavoj Žižek, authoritarian capitalism is the most successful form of organization in the world today. For all the allegations that might be made against the current Prime Minister of India: the sanctioning of genocide as Chief Minister of Gujarat, using religious tensions to boost his political career from the aforementioned post to the highest office in the nation, him and his cabinet have still managed to usher in one of the greatest eras of prosperity that India has ever seen, for however small a percentage of the population that this prosperity might actually translate into wealth for. This is just another example of strong-arm tactics operating at their very best, utilizing outside capital for the benefits of the state and its benefactors, even though that does not include the vast majority of the nation's population under the current regime. Of course, job opportunities will find their way to India due to these moves made by the PM, but for anyone reading beyond headlines it is evident why this strategic move benefits those most who are closest to the BJP, who need I not mention, are the political party in power.

PM Modi emphasizes the importance of local manufacturing in investment, welcoming global companies like Tesla. He discusses the growth of the EV sector and investments by tech giants in India, aligning with the 'Make in India' initiative for sustainable development.

Hearing of financial fraud in South East Asian Nations other than India just serves as a reminder to me of how corrosive greed and susceptibility is to newly emerging nations not just in this particular region, but around the world. India is well known for its elite taking advantage of the relatively rudimentary systems of bureaucracy, as evidenced to the world through James Crabtree's hugely informative and slightly ominous account in the "Billionaire Raj", as well as Netflix specials such as "Bad Boy Billionaires". While these signs of financial malfeasance indicate a new incoming era for these nations of greater state vigilance and a rising middle class, along with all other economic benefits that these factors have in store for their respective nations, it is heartbreaking to see the ordinary taxpayers of these nations, who still find themselves in the same positions that their predecessors might have found themselves, let alone footing the bill for these crimes. Progress isn't always caused because of that which is beautiful, but it rages on nonetheless.
