Hey everyone!! I wanted to take some time to share some introductions from Rise Up Jege Utho so that you know who is behind this instagram page. 😊Most of all I want you to meet the ladies in Bangladesh who are the creative artisans of this handicraft small business!! 🧡

My name is Anna & I live in Queens, NYC. The most important thing about me is that I love following Jesus. I also love my family including my 5 sisters and 2 brothers & 6 nieces & nephews. I had the incredible opportunity to live in Bangladesh for 5 months and witnessed the impact of micro loans & small business development for women in rural areas. The impact is more than monetary but creates new opportunities for women to receive value and dignity in places where they are often under-respected & devalued.

I completed my MSW in 2023 & work for a ministry nonprofit in Queens, NY.

I’m the one behind our instagram & pages and our Etsy shop! It’s a joy to be working with our team of ladies in Bangladesh to bring these amazing products to you!
