Founded in 1915, Green Earth Enterprise is now in its fourth generation. Our large, modern graphic arts facility is a WBENC-certified, 100% women-owned printing company. Green Earth Enterprise wants to be part of your organization’s sustainability effort. We are certified by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) and work with our clients to select the appropriate paper
for each job which may include stocks
that are virgin, recycled, post-consumer
material, chlorine-free, alternate fiber. We use vegetable-based, VOC and solvent-free, biodegradable process inks, near-zero VOC press-wash and recycled pressroom chemistry in house. All our print work is carbon neutral at no additional cost to you. Green Earth Enterprise gives you the opportunity to produce a totally carbon neutral print job by replacing the entire
carbon footprint the job creates. Our custom computer software calculates the carbon tonnage produced by each of our jobs from the point a tree is cut down for paper to delivery of the final product. Green Earth Enterprise neutralizes the carbon emissions of each project by planting Useful Trees at no additional cost to the client. Useful Trees are not likely to be cut down because the value of their fruit, nuts or
leaves is worth at least four times more than the timber itself. In Latin America, the Useful Trees we’ve planted are not only offsetting the carbon footprint of our
printing, but are also generating income for indigenous Mayan farmers, thus increasing the local carbon-based biomass and aiding in the overall economic development of
the region.
