Small changes aren’t enough to dismantle systemic racism and other forms of oppression. Your diversity trainings are entirely insuffiencient in addressing this problem without a comprehensive plan for disrupting the structural violence of the system. If we’re all working to disrupt a matrix of domination designed to sustian systems of oppression, then organizations must incubate big and bold ideas and develop plans for change complete with the resources necessary to execute. Period. We must hold ourselves and our organizations accountable. We’re either resistant or complicit. ✊🏾
