Freedom is a gift. Freedom is not won or maintained easily, but it is lost easily. Today we are thinking of all of the immigrants and dreamers who deserve to be free in this country. America can be great again if we remember how to appreciate diversity and allow it to thrive amongst us.

June is National Dairy Month! Small American dairy farmers are dwindling in numbers from the low prices of milk and the incredibly unfortunate circumstances that follow financial instability, such as severe depression and anxiety. Mental health is oft overlooked in this country across all professions, but especially those surrounding food. Farmers are rarely given the respect they deserve, and the smaller ones almost never get enough meaningful support, both financially and lawfully, from the government. It is a sad truth but we are going to take the next month to showcase some beautiful lives, the people and products that make this country, and its dairy industry, so great.
