Grant Opportunity:

Disaster Relief Fund:

The Disaster Relief Fund supports community-based disaster relief programs.

For the purposes of the grant process, we define disasters as a sudden event, such as an accident, natural catastrophe, war, or armed conflict, that causes great damage or loss of life, while exceeding the ability of the impacted community to cope using its own resources.

In keeping with CIF focus, the Disaster Relief Fund is intended to provide resources to locally lead, smaller groups and projects. However, if a larger, more established organization has an immediate project where a small grant can make a larger impact, such proposals will be considered. It is not the intention of the fund to support chronic issues, politic issues or large-scale rebuilding efforts.

New applicants must fill out and LOI. Once approved the grant is due March 31st
