✨ Motivational Monday ✨

Hi friends! Since May is Mental Health Month, I’ve been thinking a lot about what it really means to love ourselves.

We hear “love yourself” all the time… but honestly, loving ourselves fully can feel hard.

Some days we feel good.
Some days we feel confident.
And other days… not so much.

And maybe that’s part of it.

Maybe loving yourself fully doesn’t mean loving every part of you all the time.

Maybe it means staying with yourself even on the hard days.

Being kind to yourself when your mind is heavy.
Not giving up on yourself when things don’t feel okay.

For me, this has been a journey.

Learning to be more patient with myself.
Learning to listen to my needs.
Learning that my mental health matters just as much as anything else in my life.

And that I deserve care, support, and compassion — from others, but also from myself.

✨ I’m learning that loving myself fully means showing up for myself with kindness, even on the days when it feels difficult.

✨ What is one way you can show yourself kindness this week?

Share in the comments if you feel comfortable. 💬

I’m learning to take better care of my mental health and treat myself with more compassion. Maybe you can too. Sending you a big bear hug. 🐻🤎

LET YOUR BELLY OUT FRIDAY! Join our supportive group at www.facebook.com/groups/thebellyclub

Hi friends!! Every Friday, we open up a space for members to share belly photos in the comments of a featured post. No need for explanations or captions — just you, showing up as you are.

This is the day of the week when belly selfies, without a context or explanation, can be posted and we're hoping this helps keep the group focused on connection, support, and self-acceptance the rest of the week.

THE VIBE
This is not a beauty contest. It's not about validation or likes. It's about community. It’s about normalizing bodies like ours and celebrating each other for showing up.

HOW IT WORKS
Each week, we’ll feature one amazing member in the main post. Everyone else is invited to post their own belly photos in the comments.
You don’t need to be shirtless to join in — but if you do want to share a shirtless pic, please make sure it follows the Belly Club guidelines:

No headless pics
No thirst traps (a sexy or flirty photo meant to elicit a viewer's attention)
No overtly sexual poses or bulge shots
No underwear or nudity. Swimsuits and speedos are allowed.

BE KIND, NOT CREEPY

This space is for affirmation, not objectification.
Please celebrate each other in a way that’s respectful and kind — compliments are welcome, but skip words like hot, sexy, or comments about what you'd like to do to someone. Think: beautiful, radiant, courageous, joyful, inspiring, I love your shorts, I dig your tattoos, etc.

WANT TO BE FEATURED?

We’d love to spotlight you!

DM me a photo you'd like us to feature, your age, where you are from and answer one quick question:

What do you love most about being part of the Belly Club?

Let’s keep making this a brave, warm, and welcoming space — together.

Our Belly Club community is growing every day as we host more classes and Bear Hug retreats.

We’re grateful for the supportive and special people we meet. We want to celebrate a member each month.

Let’s learn and inspire each other by telling our stories.

Meet Myke below. He recently joined the Belly Club and the Beyond Belly membership, and is just beginning his journey with us. He’ll be attending his first retreat this May — the Bear Hug NOLA Food Tour — and we’re so excited to have him be part of the experience.
