Les Liserons carpet by Jules Coudyser, designed for the 1925 International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts (Exposition internationale des arts décoratifs et industriels modernes) which solidified Art Deco as the dominant style of the period. 8’9” by 9’. Coudyser was an interior designer and gallery owner as well as vice-president of the textiles committee at the exhibition.
