Florence is one of those cities where you don’t need a long itinerary.

My perfect day looks like this:
• Morning cappuccino and a pastry
• Walk across the Ponte Vecchio before the crowds
• The Uffizi Gallery
• A long lunch with wine
• Wander the Oltrarno streets and little artisan shops
• Pasta and a late dinner
• Evening views over the city

Florence isn’t a checklist city. It’s a wander, linger, order another glass of wine kind of place.
