"For years, businesses have resisted calls — including from this column — to rethink their responsibility to society. In response, corporations typically dismissed hot-button topics like income inequality, climate change, gun violence and more as political issues unrelated to them." ... but no longer.

Shareholder democracy seemed like a good idea at the time. What we got was shareholder supremacy.

We believe that reproductive health care is fundamental to gender equality in the workplace, and that's why our founder decided to sign on to the historic New York Times letter of support with over 180 other business executives. DontBanEquality.com

More than 180 CEOs have signed a letter opposing laws and regulations that restrict women's reproductive healthcare, including abortion. The letter appears today as a full-page ad in The New York Times under the heading "Don't Ban Equality," and comes less than a month after Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey si...

WhyWhisper Collective has been supporting multiple social impact organizations in a collaboration for a new content series focused on strengthening and advancing communications, marketing, and branding within the social impact sector. Read the first piece, which was produced by leaders at Camelback Ventures and New Profit Inc.

It’s been two fun-filled days with , training their team in all things marketing strategy so they can be the best possible support to their fellows. While we’re always excited to see organizations investing in their staff’s professional development, it’s a HUGE added bonus when we get to work with such an inspiring, thoughtful, playful, and present group of amazing individuals in the process. We look forward to seeing the impact of this work ripple throughout the world as you bring these strategies and tools to your fellows!

Yesterday, we went live with an incredibly exciting project that we've been working on for several months: the launch of a studio within The Center for Social Impact Strategy at The University of Pennsylvania. The goal: to tell inspiring stories that demonstrate people's potential to positively change our world, and then provide tools that all of us can use to move our own ideas forward. Check it out here: www.studio.socialimpactstrategy.org

Why are we so excited about it?
1. Because it shows that progress IS possible.
2. Because it makes education accessible to everyone.
3. Because we had the opportunity to work with INCREDIBLE people to bring this all to life.

Please share and help us get this out there? (And of course, let us know if you have ideas, feedback, or additional stories and tools you would like for us to share).

P.S. Watch the trailer below with SOUND ON.

At WhyWhisper Collective, our number one priority is making a sustainable and positive impact...and we also REALLY like animals. So when we discovered Animal Experience International through the B Corporation community, we were thrilled, to say the least.

We recently had the opportunity to chat with AEI's kind, fun, and passionate founder Nora Livingstone -- here's what she had to say: http://bit.ly/2rlqtLL

At this point, you likely know that our team is all about making a sustainable and positive impact. But what you may not know is that we also really love animals. So when we discovered Animal Experience International through the B Corps community, we were thrilled, to say the least. Why? Ani

When we came across fellow B Corporation Terra Education, we were so inspired by their mission and work. They offer experiences that are impact and community-focused, but that also align with their volunteers’ passions, such as animal and wildlife conservation trips to destinations like Galapagos, and sports-oriented service trips to the Dominican Republic.

We had the opportunity to connect with Terra Education Founder and Director Andrew Motiwalla to learn more about their work and impact – here’s what he had to say: http://bit.ly/2oQNtjE

If you're interested in learning more about these volunteer experiences, check out Global Leadership Adventures (for teens) and Discover Corps (for adults and families).

The B Corps community is full of individuals and companies who truly believe in using business as a force for good. In connecting and working with this community, we’re continually reminded that aligning our work with our values is what leads to deep and sustainable impact. Lately, when we’ve

“We weren’t satisfied with the idea of writing checks or collecting donations: It’s really hard to see where the money is going and to understand the exact impact of your efforts. We wanted to do something more tangible, which is why we decided to roll up our sleeves and pick up the trash ourselves.”

We recently had the opportunity to connect with United By Blue Founder & CEO Brian Linton—here’s what he had to say about why and how they do their incredible work: http://bit.ly/2o6Q9vt

As social impact strategists, we have the amazing opportunity to connect with and learn from leaders who are changing the world every day. When we became a Certified B Corps last year, that opportunity expanded even further, as we joined a community that truly believes in harnessing business

As a Certified B Corporation, there are few things we love more than supporting and collaborating with our fellow BCorps.

Recently, we had the incredible opportunity to interview VPL CEO, Kikka Hanazawa. VPL is an award-winning fashion activewear company that started with a rebellious concept: a line of underwear to be worn as outerwear (VPL is an acronym for “visible panty line”). Today, you’ll find VPL’s innovative products on the covers of magazines, being worn by celebrities, and in stores across 25 countries. But what we find most impressive is their values.

Read on to learn more about their design processes, upcycling, and philanthropic initiatives!
