JJ has enjoyed an enduring international career in the fashion industry span of more than 27 years, he has been responsible for the success of several super models. In 1989 his personalized management style transformed Spectrum Model Management from a small commercial agency in New York City to a respected editorial agency. From Spectrum, JJ discovered and was instrumental in crafting the careers

of supermodels: Niki Taylor, Daniela Pestova, Liv Tyler, Eva Herzegova, and Angie Harmon among others. At Next Model Management, His one on one management style helped build and sustain the careers of then models: Rebecca Romjin, Milla Jovovich, Bridget Moynahan, Molly Simms, and supermodel and actress Joy Bryant. In the following years, JJ was instrumental in launching the careers of celebrities Bijou Phillips and Estella Warren. His models have graced the covers of hundreds of magazines throughout the world including Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Mademoiselle, Marie Claire and Sports Illustrated. His models have confirmed contracts with Gucci, Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Emporio Armani, Covergirl, L'Oreal, Victoria's Secret, Borghese and Guess Jeans. JJ Cortez is an invaluable asset to any aspiring model.
