Formed in 1993, Foundations is a building and construction management group, built by architects trained at the Cooper Union School of Architecture with an understanding of design and detail. Foundations’ project managers have diverse experience in designing, managing and building complex ground up construction, high-end residential, and commercial projects in New York. Over the last two decades,

Foundations has been responsible for over one million square feet of construction projects in New York City that range from ground up buildings to building additions, conversions, gut rehabilitations, high-end residential, commercial fit outs and museum exhibits. The firm has been written up in innumerable architectural magazines and notable national and international publications including The New York Times, The New York Times Magazine, The Washington Post, Dwell, Details, Architectural Record, A+U, Food & Wine, Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Interior Design, and Harper’s Bazaar.
