As we get ready to welcome attendees to the 2026 TCG National Conference, we would like to take a moment to thank our Lead Partners for the conference!

TCG’s work is greatly enriched by the collaboration of our Lead Partners, whose support has helped bring this National Conference to life. We thank these organizations for their collaboration, creativity, and shared dedication to strengthening theatre in the community.

Together, we are excited to provide the ground for folks to gather around the pillars of people, practice, and power, and to take powerful imaginings home to guide the their future theatre making!

"Theatre Communications Group has mattered so deeply to me for more than 40 years. Here we are not just artists in isolation, this organization or that; we are part of a field, a continent of theater, larger than ourselves." — Todd London

As we approach the close of our fiscal year, we're reflecting on what it means to belong to something larger than ourselves.

For generations, TCG has helped connect artists, theatres, and communities across the country. Please make your gift today and help ensure that the next generation of theatre kids has a place to begin.

We are elated to be welcoming Derek, Ersian, and the additional members of The Lab team joining us in San Juan next month for the 2026 TCG National Conference! They'll be bringing powerful community-building tools through "The Art of Care — An In Your Shoes™ Workshop", happening on Saturday, June 13th.

Together, we'll explore care as a multidimensional practice — and use this practice to step into our collective power. Within the context of the 10th anniversary of TCG’s Global Theater Initiative (GTI), we look forward to underscoring theatre’s role in global interconnectedness, artistic exchange, and social impact.

There's still time to register — head to the link and secure your spot with us today: https://bit.ly/48eCmJe

In the second half of the 20th century, resident theatre ensembles were the go-to model for the many regional theatres springing up around the country. But today, the resident company structure is found far and few between.

Billy McEntee from American Theatre magazine dives into the evolution of resident ensembles, charting the pros and cons of the model and the ways that theatres are continuing to foster the spirit of collaboration even once that model has officially dissolved.

If you want to be the first to read pressing news like this, be sure to subscribe to AMERICAN THEATRE in print by becoming a member of TCG today! Hit the link to join: https://bit.ly/4u7LND4

Examining what it means to inhabit a body that refuses to cooperate, INFINITE LIFE portrays five women over the course of several days as they philosophize, divulge family secrets, and share recommendations, while navigating the complex intersections of physical fragility and emotional desire.

The Bridge Podcast is taking a short break as we turn our focus toward preparing for NC26!

This isn’t goodbye, just an intermission. We’ll be back later this summer with brand new episodes exploring how theatres can build sustainable, successful models by invigorating audiences and becoming essential fixtures within the communities they serve.

In the meantime, we encourage you to catch up on any episodes you may have missed and revisit the conversations that continue to inspire this work here: https://bit.ly/4n0QEmG

Thank you for listening, supporting, and being part of the conversation. We can’t wait to continue building the bridge together.
