Big up, big up! Karma Carnival International is bursting with pride as we throw our full support behind our very own **Jamell Henderson ()** in his quest to become the next NYC Councilmember for the 41st District of Brooklyn! Let’s make some noise for this phenomenal leader! 🥳

We’ve watched Jamell grow from a dedicated student leader to a powerhouse leader who’s always in the mix, serving our community with heart, soul, and a whole lot of rhythm. If you can lead a section of 100-200 masqueraders—keeping them in line, on beat, and looking fabulous from registration to the stage—you’ve got what it takes to lead a district! And trust us, Jamell’s got it in spades.

For the past 9 years, Jamell has been our rock-solid Vice President, working hand-in-hand with our visionary President, Curtis Browne. Together, they’ve built a legacy of trust, advocacy, and ensuring every voice is heard. Jamell doesn’t just talk the talk; he *wines* the walk. 💃

This man *lives* Carnival. Born and bred in the culture, he knows the heartbeat of our community. With Jamell in office, Carnival in Brooklyn won’t just come back—it’ll be bigger, bolder, and more vibrant than ever. As a team, this is always the emotional part of our experience, writing this post in appreciation to YOU, our Karma Carnvial Family, our family, and to all who have supported us near and far to ensure that was THE EXPERIENCE TO BEAT!!

We want to thank our president and designer extraordinare We are led by a visionary that is full of heart and love, and it's clear that it showed in our Revelers faces wearing our amazing costumes. We love you, big boss!!!

To our dynamic and most energetic VP any organization can find, .henderson , you made sure that our section was seen and felt by the world! From your communication to morale, there was never a dull experience for our Revelers in Atlanta!

To our Director of Marketing, you have pushed and made it clear that our costume must be all over social media, all in people phones and their emails. Your tactics are phenomenal, and who doesn't recognize your ELECTRIC STAGE PRESENCE!!

To Madd Colors, we are overjoyed with the love, support, and care that you've shown us over the years, and we are thankful to be on this beautiful ride with you!! Y'all made it clear we ain't going nowhere, so our anchor is permanent for the land of carnival in Atlanta.

ATLANTA CARNIVAL APPRECIATION POST--THE WORK

We at Karma Carnival International are a family, and when it comes to Carnvial, we put in the work, the sweat, the long and tiring hours.. even without sleep some days.. all to make sure that your experience was amazing!!

From the 14-hour drive to the full-scale preparation to make sure our Revelers have the best customer service we have to offer. More importantly, we made sure that our Revelers was a part of our village!! We love what we are able to do for you.

Thank you, , for your beautiful and amazing love, support, and hospitality. Thank you for making us feel at home in Atlanta

We want to thank our phenomenal designer as he once again created a costume that would be remembered forever.

To the supoort team, especially .destiny and , for their hard work, you made the costume happen! This is the team that's behind the scenes and yet the most effective when bringing a costume to life!

We want to thank our phenomenal distribution team lead by and , who showed up and showed out in making sure that their packages were set. We want to thank our Kings of Karma, who created the GENESIS lounge to keep our Revellers entertained while waiting for their costume.
