Sean McClintock was a longtime employee at Remote Recording. We our devastated about his loss. Sean was a generous, kind soul who was always willing to jump in and help. His professionalism, quick wit and kindness will be deeply missed.

As a supplier of media assets and equipment, we are open to take care of you. However to comply with physical distancing, we will be working with fewer staff members on hand.

In order to insure that we provide the best experience we can for our customers, here are some guidelines and information:

--Please call ahead with any rental, purchase or repair need at 212.586.1033.
--We offer curbside pickup for those who do not wish to come in. You will need to have a scheduled time.
--We do offer delivery and pick up on a limited basis.
--We are sanitizing equipment coming and going.

The time has come for Remote Recording to move in another direction. As a result, the historic Silver Studio is for sale. Custom built by David Hewitt, the truck has recorded/broadcast a variable who’s who in music. Neil Young, Rolling Stones, The Eagles, Academy Awards, CMA’s, Clint Black, George Strait, Jimmy Buffett, The Concert For New York City, the Metropolitan Opera, Eric Clapton, Super Bowl Halftime with Bruce Springsteen, and Fleetwood Mac to name but a few. The Silver Studio has also recorded film scores including “The Preacher’s Wife” and “K19 The Widowmaker”. Smokey Joe’s Café, Sophisticated Ladies are a couple of Broadway show’s the Silver Studio has recorded, along with Olypmic Opening/Closing Ceremonies in Atlanta and Salt Lake City.

The Silver Studio has a Neve VR, and a vocal booth in the back. It is ideal for both recording and mixing. If you are interested, please email [email protected]. Serious buyers only please.
